Morning Talk: Peech // creating my place in the world by building a business
November 1 2023
8.00-9.15
THE KITCHEN
ABOUT THE EVENT
“Building Peech has been a way for me to create my own space, one that I fit perfectly into. I always felt a little off – both as a student at the university, but also when I was an apprentice carpenter.”
So says 27-year-old Clara Filippa Damgaard Andersen. While enrolled in East European Studies at the University of Copenhagen, she co-founded the s3x toy brand Peech.
She and her three co-founders started Peech, not because the world was lacking s3x toys, but because they could not see themselves in the way they were presented. They wanted to change the conversation about sex to include openness, well-being, and curiosity – without forgetting that sex is also a political, cultural and factual thing.
✅✅ THE TALK WILL FOCUS ON:
- Finding a new way to build a s3x toy brand
- The journey from one shelf of products to two shops
- Building a place to belong via entrepreneurship – but not seeing yourself as an entrepreneur
Our Morning Talks are a series of inspiring guest talks with entrepreneurs hailing from well-established businesses or new, up-and-coming startups. The talk is held at The Kitchen, but you can follow along at home via our livestream. The event concludes with an optional tour of the hub and the chance to speak to different business developers.
